Function of the Railroad Safety Department
Conduct a comprehensive audit and determine whether or not the railroad operation organizations are faithfully implementing railroad safety practices in accordance with the Railroad Safety Law. Ensure railroad safety by improving problems and finding and rewarding exemplary cases. Foster excellent railroad vehicle drivers and manage human resources by implementing and managing the railroad vehicle operator's licensing system. Systematically implement the railroad safety policy and prevent railroad accidents by managing the full array of railroad safety information. Spread railroad safety knowledge to persons engaged in the railroad industry and to the public in order to enhance safety consciousness.
